THE PLOT

Under the Influence is about the fictional McKinnon Family, a family of narcissistic influencers. They have one of the most popular 'family vlog' channels on YouTube, broadcasting their lives daily. The channel is run by father Mike McKinnon and his wife Cheryl, two of the most narcissistic parents you'll ever meet. These parents will do anything for views, including exploiting their kids.

Their kids, Noah and Izzy, are dragged into crazy stunts and pranks every day, and have their most embarrassing moments posted online for their classmates --and the world-- to see.

When Mike purposefully tampers with the fireworks at their gender reveal party and starts a forest fire, with hard evidence recorded in their vlog, the heat is on.
